Tegist Tefera has extensive experience working in radio broadcasting, performance arts (television, film, and theatre), and journalism. She is the official North American correspondent for "Voice of Justice" radio program hosted in Washington, DC, where she interviews various figures associated with the royal family and related politics affecting Ethiopian people. She is also the former official host of "And Ethiopia," a show dedicated to the cultural and political unity of the Ethiopian people, and has worked on children's radio programs. She has starred in various films and televised programs on victims of abuse, particularly women, based in Ethiopia. She is currently looking for networking partners for a new radio show concept focused on women of the African diaspora, with a focus on East African women and issues around women's rights, victims of abuse, health, poverty, religion and tradition, and children. She is based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. |
